| When I see
dolphins doing what they do, things like riding the bow wakes of boats, I
see highly intelligent and curious beings, they are riding along
with the boat showing us how amazing they are and wanting to find kinship
with the other sentient beings on the boat.
I am sure that they have been deeply confused for centuries by the reception that they got from humans, but they patently continue to try to reach out to us. This painting illustrates one of the first humans who gets it, who embraces the dolphin as a sentient "Emissary" .
